Lucy’s comes from the picturesque seaside village of Flushing on the Cornwall coast. She has always had a deep relationship with the natural world around her, which is the source of her inspiration.
Lichen has translated through her designs from the very beginning of her journey as a jeweller. She loves the delicate nature of these little-known organisms, which are one of the bedrocks of the local ecosystem.
More recently, the inspiration for her work has expanded. Ancient monoliths, which are scattered throughout the surrounding countryside, have become a major influence as well as local endangered species. She engraves a range of her jewellery with the names of these vulnerable beings that we share our world with. Her ultimate wish is for her work to spark conversation, helping people to be more mindful of the wild places around them and realise that they are, in fact, part of that world.

Hand-formed in recycled silver, then textured using an array of Lucy's grandad’s old workshop hammers to build layers of texture on the surface. Each bangle is unique, showing the marks made during the creation process, which are left as a reminder of their handcrafted nature.
The little hammered circular charms are stacked up to give movement and a soft jingly noise. The light catches the marks on the surface in a beautifully subtle way.
