Lucy’s comes from the picturesque seaside village of Flushing on the Cornwall coast. She has always had a deep relationship with the natural world around her, which is the source of her inspiration.
Lichen has translated through her designs from the very beginning of her journey as a jeweller. She loves the delicate nature of these little-known organisms, which are one of the bedrocks of the local ecosystem.
More recently, the inspiration for her work has expanded. Ancient monoliths, which are scattered throughout the surrounding countryside, have become a major influence as well as local endangered species. She engraves a range of her jewellery with the names of these vulnerable beings that we share our world with. Her ultimate wish is for her work to spark conversation, helping people to be more mindful of the wild places around them and realise that they are, in fact, part of that world.

Inspired by Cornwall’s rock formations and the quartz seams running through them, the Monolith striped studs are a tiny piece of raw, understated luxury.
The studs are beautifully textured using Lucy’s grandad’s old workshop hammers. The hammer marks provide a hand-finished quality to the jewellery, giving texture and light to the surface.
Hand-crafted contemporary organic jewellery for people who love wild places. Inspired by and made in Cornwall.
